About ShARE IIT Bombay
ShARE IITB is an innovative start-up at the crossroads of education and consulting with ‘Do Well, Do Good’ as its mission. ShARE aims to transform the way corporate organizations conventionally work and create a new generation of leaders & changemakers who will do well for themselves and do good for the whole world.
Established in 2011, ShARE IITB strives to empower students to learn beyond the classroom through leadership, corporate exposure, and strategic thinking. As a Junior Member, you'll work on exciting Do Well, Do Good case studies, deliver strategic presentations, and collaborate with startups on live consulting projects. Along the way, you'll build skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, public speaking, strategy, negotiation, and professional slide-making while learning from experienced seniors through mentorship and interactive training sessions.

ShARE's mission is to reconcile the Do Well world and the Do Good world.
The framework of having to choose between a “do well” career (i.e. the corporate world) and a “do good” career (i.e. the world of NGO, CSR, and social enterprises) is not effective anymore and a new generation of leaders is needed to face the 21st century's most pressing challenges.
There is a massive shifting happening from being the most advanced economy to being a sustainable economy and we can all see it. We aspire to create leaders who definitely will do well for themselves but at the same time will do good for society and will strive towards a more inclusive world. We plant a seed that we hope will grow over time.
Doing well and doing good is compatible and will be a major lever to shape a society that provides opportunities for all. Not only is it a great opportunity for society, but it is also an excellent opportunity for companies that can give a sense of purpose to their employees and boost their productivity.

Members of ShARE work together in different knowledge network groups called Expertise networks and work on projects to solve issues faced in their respective networks.
